We received our Farm Winery license in the summer of 2013 and that fall marked our first full harvest.

Arbor Hill Winery
Arbor Hill Winery is located in South Bristol just north of Naples, New York, at southern end of Canandaigua Lake in the famous Finger Lakes Region. In 1987 Arbor Hill opened in just one building. Now it sits in a complex of vintage buildings (including the original), in a wonderful warm New England country setting. The Brahm family takes great pride in the fact that they produce their products on the premises. In their country complex they have several buildings; one is the retail shop, another is Brew & Brats at Arbor Hill, and two barns serve as the wine cellar and the food production area.

Money Empower with Barbara Huson
200! When I started the show, I thought it would be fun to bring my two favorite passions together - Wine and Finance. Everyone's journey in life is different, just like everyone has different palettes for wine - both should be celebrated and not judged. This week’s guest could not have been a better fit to help us celebrate our 200th episode as she is the essence of why I started this podcast. Join us for this podcast and learn about Barbara's riches to rags to riches story.
Barbara is a Mentor and a Coach and is "The Leading Authority on Women, Wealth & Power". Barabara joins us this week to share her amazing story about how she had wealth, lost wealth, and had to rebuild her wealth. That started her on a journey you will never forget, as she reveals her financial lessons with other women in all walks of life. You're definitely going to want to tune into this one!

Barbara Huson | The Leading Authority on Women, Wealth & Power
About Barbara
I want to teach you the secret wisdom of creating wealth and asserting power, as a woman… wisdom which took me over 40 years to figure out.
I grew up relying on my father (the “R” of H&R Block), then my husband, to manage my inheritance. But early in my marriage, I found out my husband was a compulsive gambler. And here’s the insane part — I continued to let him handle all our finances because that’s how scared and intimidated I was by money.
That didn’t change until a devastating financial crisis became a personal wake-up call. I got tax bills for over $1m for illegal deals my ex got us in. He’d left the country. I didn’t have anywhere close to $1m. And my father wouldn’t lend me the money. I had three daughters — one just a baby, and I was not going to raise them on the street. That’s when I knew I had to get smart. And I did.
I share my journey to financial independence in hopes of inspiring, and even better, motivating YOU to become smart (or smarter) with money… and earn more than you’re making now. It’s much simpler and more in your control than you may realize.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ANN ARCEO, AAMS®…
I have been working in the financial planning industry for over 10 years. In my career in financial planning at PartnersInWealth, a wealth management firm based in Houston, Texas, which caters to high-net-worth clientele. I worked with the firm’s president to develop a new method of training to help advisors learn to deliver technical financial plans in an easy, "plain English" format that clients would understand.
I then worked for LPL Financial, an independent broker dealer, where I earned my Series 7 & 66 securities licenses. I worked alongside a branch manager creating financial plans, account summaries, and investment performance reports for high-net-worth clients.
I also have a passion for writing, and my financial articles have been featured on Investopedia.com, a website which has 20 million unique visitors per month. I have also written for ReadyForZero.com, BudgetTracker.com, and have been quoted in articles for Forbes and U.S. News & World Report.
I live with my husband and two children in Fort Collins, CO, and we enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, and of course planning our financial future together!

Amy's Wine Pick of the Week
MARK WEST PINOT NOIR
TASTING NOTES
The original. Medium-bodied with black cherry, cola, strawberry, plum, and soft tannins. No wonder this Pinot is a favorite.
PAIRS PERFECTLY WITH
Pastas with light tomato-based sauces, a juicy cheeseburger, grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, or if you're not a cook, drink it on its own.
WINEMAKING NOTES
We selected grapes from vineyards in the finest cool-climate regions of California in order to bring you a balanced fruit-forward Pinot Noir. After early morning harvesting, we gently crush and destem the fruit. We then ferment it in small stainless steel tanks, with daily punch-downs and pump-overs...basically, that's what we do to help get the great flavor and color you love. After a light pressing, we age the wine with French oak, then we blend it, bottle it, and you enjoy it.
