Strong Roots Episode 9 - Nurse Practitioner Megan Black

In this episode of Strong Roots, I chat with Nurse Practitioner and Hospitalist Megan Black. Megan is a relative of mine, and we get the chance to catch up and get to know a little more about each other. She explains what her role as a hospitalist is, and how it relates to our health. Our society has an official definition of hospitalists: “Physicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients. Their activities include patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital medicine.” Megan also runs a clinic call BLACK OAK CLINIC. Black Oak Clinic LLC is a rural healthcare clinic owned and operated by a nurse practitioner in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. They serve and focus more on adolescent, adult and gerontological health needs. This was a really fun conversation, and I’m sure you will enjoy!!
